Public School Sends Home Boy Dressed as Jesus

image

According to press reports, 13-year Alex Woinski was sent home by West Brook Middle School in New Jersey.

What was his sin?

He came to the school Halloween celebration dressed like Jesus, wearing a robe, sandals, beard and crown of thorns -- and he was sent home. The reason?

Joan Broe, principal of West Brook Middle School said the boy was sent home because "Children were [asking], where is the boy who is Jesus Christ? It was disrupting the education process."

This is outrageous, and you and I cannot take it sitting down. React NOW!

SEND PROTEST MESSAGE HERE.

If you and I say nothing in defense of a boy who was sent home for dressing like Jesus, what will public school officials do next?

Will they prohibit children from wearing a crucifix or miraculous medal? Nobody knows.

But what you and I do know is that we have a moral obligation to stand up and defend the rights of a school boy who was unjustly sent home because of his faith.

And please pray for Alex Woinski!

To West Brook Middle School Principal

Joan Broe,

I was appalled to hear that 13 year old Alex Woinski was sent home for coming to the school Halloween celebration dressed like Jesus.

The reason you reportedly gave for this was that Alex was “disrupting the education process."

This is totally and completely unacceptable. Moreover, it offends millions of people who believe in Jesus.

I respectfully urge you to publicly apologize and ask pardon from the boy and his family for the public humiliation of sending him home unjustly.
