Report from the December 7 Public Square Rosary in Our Lady's Honor

The turnout for the December 7th Public Square Rosary in Topeka, Kansas, was small, but the enthusiasm and love for Our Lady was great!

Participants for this public square rosary ranged from age 8 to the 70's.  This was a perfect day to publicly honor the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady, since it was a very busy Christmas shopping day.  Those who were looking for material ways to celebrate Christmas were reminded by the presence of the rally participants, that the most important aspect to Christmas is the spiritual side.

Passersby were also reminded that with all of the crises that are now taking place in our country, Our Lady is there to grant us graces of repentance.

Participants offered the rosary in honor of Our Lady's Immaculate Conception, in reparation for the sins of our nation, in particularly those sins against Her Immaculate Conception and finally for the grace of repentance.

To recognize the gravity of one's sins and to fully repent of them requires grace.  May Our Lady, Mediatrix of all graces grant this to our fellow Americans while there is still time for mercy.

A number of passersby honked their horns in approval or gave the participants the thumbs up.  Despite hundreds driving by, no one spoke or acted rudely.  Each and every person however, drove slowly by so as to read the banners in both English and Spanish.
